More on the brakes issue...20 Nov 2009 21:24 GMT2
Well, I know I need to take The Truck in to get the brakes done.  As is
my usual M.O., I'd like to get some opinions from here as to what work
might need to be done.  There's more going on than just the sticky
caliper, but the other stuff was so intermittent and seemingly that I
Let's see how this works on rust!20 Nov 2009 14:23 GMT2
Well, put the '04 2500 on the lift yesterday, and sprayed the snot out

Did make it look better, if nothing else, and I did the oil pan which

Engine or brakes?19 Nov 2009 05:24 GMT13
Had one of those scary moments owners of old trucks sometimes have :)
For those of you who don't know me, I own a 2001 Dodge Dakota SLT 4x4,
v8, 4.7l.  I'm not a mechanic, but I'm trying to learn, not to do stuff
myself, but so I can talk to my trusty mechanic intelligently :)

95 Dakota - engine cranks over but won't start10 Nov 2009 02:02 GMT6
I have a 1995 Dodge Dakota, V8, 5spd, 220k miles. I was replacing the
radiator the other day when I had the truck running to check for leaks
and it just stalled. After that, it would turn over but won't start.
Not even a pop of combustion. After checking for various fuel and

Hi there --
I have a 2003 Dodge RAM 1500 4x4 quad cab six foot bed with the 5.9 liter
non-hemi V8 engine. (Which I love.)
I've only towed things with the truck 2 or 3 times, but now I am going to

Frame/Chassis05 Nov 2009 15:58 GMT-
Hi all, have a question about 2nd gen Ram frame/chassis.  I believe

to the newer models, where the HDs are separate from the 1/2 tons.
Can anyone verify this?  I feel a project comin' on, and I'd like 3/4
