Currently about half the time, when I try to start my van, the key won't turn in the ignition. I tried both keys that came with the van (bought new), as well as a spare. Interior lights, head lights will work. After a few minutes and attempts, it start fine. Equipment

i bought this neon and the prev. owner said he put a water pump on and then it wouldnt start.i think he put the timing belt on wrong by not lining anything up.where should the crank cam and other marks be pointing?

I have 2 of these vehicles with possibly same overheating problem. I replaced thermostat, flushed, rodded, repaired, all problems found on radiator, and all obvious hoses etc... Both cars have 100,000+ miles and seem relatively sound. Still expelling water from reservoir.
