Brakes binding because of brake pedal21 Jul 2006 13:13 GMT8
My 1992 Plymouth Voyager recently had a recall where the hydraulic
assembly was replaced among other things.  When the car came back, the
brakes were binding.  It was found that the springs that holds the
brake pedal up were knackered..  My experts are really hefty spring on

I have a 94 Dodge spirit with 98k and a 3.0 and for some reason when I go
over bumps or humps like in a parking lot I hear this knocking noise, almost
a bang in the right front side of the car, also I hear somthing that sounds

2000 Cirrus with 2.5l20 Jul 2006 13:20 GMT3
Speedometer is my Cirrus stopped working while driving; it pegged past
120mph then when back to zero. Odemeter still works and transmission
shifts normally. Couple of years ago I had to replace the speed sensor
on the transmission but the symptom was somewhat different; the
2002 Dodge Grand Caravan Sport: Ignition Starter Problem20 Jul 2006 00:00 GMT5
About half the time, when I try to start my van, the key
won't turn in the ignition.  There is a crank, there is fuel injection,
there is also engine turnover.  But for some reason the "magic"  does
not occur.
Window regulator failure - second one - '04 caravan19 Jul 2006 23:12 GMT10
I don't see many complaints of this type, but my '04 Caravan has had both
window regulators fail, with slightly over 40 K miles on it, only 4 weeks
apart.  Any others like me?
I'm 'kinda irritated!  This should not be happening, and I definitely should
2000 dodge grand caravan power window problem(s)19 Jul 2006 20:09 GMT3
A couple of years ago my wife's van's right rear window had problems opening
and closing.  The problem seemed to be with the switch on the driver's side
door.  Then, the driver's side window would work intermitently (now less so
than ever) and the left rear window has problems ...

'92 Dakota 3.9 distributer gear replacement18 Jul 2006 19:36 GMT5
To make a long story as short as I can....
Was driving my '92 Dakota 3.9 and it left me set. After checking fuel
pump pressure (okay) I checked the distributor rotor and saw that it
was not turning. I immediately thought timing chain, but all the
2005 Grand Caravan 3.8l - proper engine oil18 Jul 2006 15:04 GMT7
I have an '05 GC with 3.8l engine. Owners manual says use 5w30 engine
oil. On two occasions, my dealer has used 5w20.
My question is: is this substitution authorized by Chrysler and what
documents it?

2003 caravan 3.8 v6 with auto & a/c17 Jul 2006 21:29 GMT1
I'm having problems with the drivability of my car.  The engine misses when
I gently accelerate between 40 to 50 mph.  If I give more gas and it shifts
into a lower gear it seems to smooth out.  Also another problem (may be
related) is that the tach will jump for no abvious reason ...

1996 Dodge Neon16 Jul 2006 18:43 GMT1
I'm having problems with my car that I believe to be caused by a fuel problem.
It sputters a lot and it takes forever to accelerate after starting out from
a stop sign or stop light. Basically, what I need to know is does this sound
more like it could be caused by a clogged fuel ...
