General Car related question, a real stumper. Need a hand!22 Dec 2006 20:28 GMT12
OK, it's NOT a Chrysler, but people here are pretty good at solving
problems:
I have a 1989 Mazda 626. It sat in a friend's yard for 2 years, and when I
loused up my Grand Voyager I bought it for $150.
'94 Caravan 3.3 hard to start21 Dec 2006 04:57 GMT2
Have a '94 Caravan 3.3 which takes a considerable amount of cranking
to start when cold.  It doesn't just sit there and crank and crank; but
rather it acts like it's trying to start but just won't take off.  Just
kind of fires here & there but not enough to start it.

additional 1000.00 and the vehicle is still not fixed.  It starts up

2001 Dodge Neon trans/linkage problem?17 Dec 2006 03:25 GMT2
I have a 2.0L Dodge Neon 2001.
Symptoms= Car does not travel in reverse but shifts through forward
gears smoothly. In neutral it will actually pull forward if i put it
past 2000 rpm. A mechanic has already confirmed that all four motor
97 Intrepid Problem16 Dec 2006 22:56 GMT1
Intepid with a 3.5 motor has been overheating off and on all year. It
has a new radiator, thermostat, pressure cap. It only seems to overheat
when it's cold out. all summer ran fine. Now it's starting to overheat
again. Some days can drive 200 miles and it's ok. Then the next day
89 Dakota -- runs like crap overnight16 Dec 2006 22:16 GMT5
I inherited my mom's 89 Dodge Dakota V6 with TBI. It hasn't been
maintained too well for a while, but neither has it been driven much.
It drove fine for about a month after I got it, being driven
occasionally. It did have an issue with very occasionally dying

2000 Town & Country - replace fuse09 Dec 2006 21:20 GMT1
We were traveling, using a 1-to-3 lighter adaptor to power 2 cell
phones and a laptop.  I don't know what caused what, but the whole
thing got hot and the adaptor melted enough to come apart, but not so
that the plastic melted -to- anything.  Now the lighter/power outlet
Stratus Ignition08 Dec 2006 21:16 GMT5
My distributor apparently went out on my 98 Stratus 6-cyl w/ 102,000 miles
on it.  One minute it was working fine and the next minute I'm calling a tow
truck and spending a thousand dollars.  How can this happen with no warning.
Does this sound normal?
3.3L Exhaust Manifold Gasket07 Dec 2006 23:04 GMT3
I'm replacing a bad head gasket(s) on my Grand Caravan 3.3L.  When I
removed the front exhaust manifold during the initial process, I
noticed no gasket.  Doesn't the factory use gaskets on the exhaust
manifold to head junctions?  This was a surprise.  All after-market
95 Neon A/C07 Dec 2006 22:48 GMT5
In the whole summer, I'm struggling with my neon's A/C. I used A/C leakage
indicator but failed to find any leakage. Everytime when I add A/C R134,
if I keep A/C running, it works fine. However, if I turn off A/C for a
while, no cool output anymore. A/C compressor is fine. Why can't ...
1998 Dodge Caravan- Headlight issue07 Dec 2006 20:01 GMT1
Okay Dodge pros, here's what I got:
For a while, the headlights would come on after jiggling the headlight
switch a little bit.
Then, one day I found the battery was dead. Jump started it, and now
98 Chrysler Sebring JXI  funky steering/brake noise06 Dec 2006 23:30 GMT1
I have a 98 Sebring with 125K miles.  Since the cold weather started
my car has been making awful groaning sounds whenever I turn
(specifically sharp/fast turns).  Once the noise is initiated after a
turn, it will continue until the engine heats up.   It is a vibrating
