Conversion van questions16 May 2007 06:16 GMT1
I'm looking at older dodge conversion vans.  One is a high mileage V*
and the other a 1500 with a larger 6 and somewhat lower mileage.  Can
you tell me if both engines are reliable past 100,000?  Would a full
size van be underpowered with a 6?  I'm looking for a recreation ...

Red stripe sidewall tires15 May 2007 03:16 GMT2
I just watched part of a show yesterday in which they featured Jay
Leno's Olds Toronado, looked to be circa 1966 (it was a tan / light
brown colour if that's any clue).
Anyway, the tires were red stripe tires although they

The ignition on my 1990 Dodge Dynasty comes out. What can I do to install
this switch myself? I think that it is draining my battery.

CARAVAN WIPER INFO11 May 2007 04:36 GMT4
I have a 96 grand caravan and am having trouble with the wipers not turning

they will stop in the middle of their cycle instead of stopping in the
proper park position. I suspect there is a stop position ...

I have a 91 dodge spirit with 2.5L 3Speed transmission with 107kmile.
I noticed lately, when i am cornering I feel like the car downshifts
or hesitates for a second but before it dies it jumps. It feels like
it shifts two times in a very short time. I noticed there is no
Whine or whistle from 3.9L09 May 2007 13:08 GMT2
This van I bought has a high pitched whine or whistle when driving
around town.  It occurs when you step on the gas.  The faster the engine
turns the more high pitch it becomes.  When the foot comes off the gas
it becomes louder but lower pitched for a second or two.  At idle the ...

96 Intrepid Stalls - Ground Strap problem?07 May 2007 20:22 GMT3
The Intrepid will stall during city driving, like stopping at a light.  This
usually occurs when the engine is warmed up.  No 'check engine' light to
give me some code.  It just stalls, but will start up right away when I turn
the ignition on.
rear hub nut06 May 2007 17:14 GMT1
I am working on a 96 Dodge Intrepid 3.3 and need
to replace the rear drum brakes. I don't have a
socket big enough to remove the hub nut. Does
anyone know the correct size, metric or standard.
