Car starts OK , engine runs normally and it is drivable.
Dash lights that stay on include Brake, Air Bag and ABS.
What does NOT work: radio & clock, L/R blinkers, air/heater/blower, electric
windows, front wipers and window wash

34 month old battery went so dead it wouldn't take a boost. Put in ne
battery and it started right up. Tested alternator with voltmeter. Outpu
was 13.4 with no accessories. With everything on it dipped to 12.4
Chilton manual said anything under 13.5 is bad alternator. Went to Straus

It is stupid that 1 side uses 3/16" fitting and the other side uses 1/4"
fitting into the master cylinder but !!!!!
There is a very sight leak at the master cylinder fitting for the 1/4"

For several months my van randomly drops into a lower gear or won’t
shift to the next gear.  I then pull off the road & cut it off for a
minute or so & start again.  This seems to fix it until the next time.
I drive by myself often is this the start of something bigger?
