A friend has a 2005 Dodge Caravan SE 3.3 with 120,000 miles and he claims
that factory recommends NEVER changing the transmission fluid.
Does anyone know if that's true?

It has an automatic transmission and as of today will no longer shift from
2nd into 3rd.  I haven't started to tear into it yet.  What should I look
at?  Cables?  Rubber bushings?  Could it be as simple as having dirty
transmission fluid?
