People don't use blinkers anynore,31 Oct 2004 20:01 GMT31
because:
1. They are preoccupied with cell phones, nav systems, GPS and other

Speaking of 70-75mph average speeds #231 Oct 2004 17:25 GMT5
Later that night in KY. Damned fog, had to slow down.
In addition, the KY highway thieves were out in force that
night for some reason.

every so often....30 Oct 2004 20:20 GMT7
Every so often I see someone who is able to astound me at  their level of
stupidity.
Tonight, I90/94 heading into downtown chicago from the south, just past
the I290 ramp... the left lane traffic suddenly slows for no apparent

Best "affordable" car for winter driving30 Oct 2004 17:23 GMT13
I need to get a decent car to handle the snow and ice.  I have a seen
alot of good reviews about the Audi A6 and Vovo XC 70 but these are
way out of my price range.  I'd like to spend no more than $30k
(perfably $25K) - are there any suggestions for cars in this price
A traffic ticket is something that you can avoid getting. Here are some tips to help you NOT get traffic tickets.30 Oct 2004 17:06 GMT10
There are reasons why some people get more traffic tickets than
others. We have a poll on our website for our students to take and

European vs US traffic signs30 Oct 2004 06:20 GMT1

Entrance Ramp Gun-Jumping30 Oct 2004 04:32 GMT10
During my evening commute, I get onto the freeway from an
on-ramp that has two lanes.  The metering lights alternate
from one lane to the other, one car per green.  Both lanes
funnel into a single lane "downstream" of the metering lights
merging into 2-lane30 Oct 2004 01:53 GMT1
Lets say I am taking an off-ramp that merges into a 2-lane road. If the
closest lane to me is clear, but the farther lane has traffic, can I still
merge into the closest lane or am I required to wait for ALL traffic to
clear.

Does anyone have a lasting fix for the degradation of the plastic headlight
lenses used in some of today's cars? I've polished them with a plastic
polish/cleaner with good results, but it doesn't last that long.94 Integra
I've noticed that Neons are much worse,BTW.
In a quandry over collision...28 Oct 2004 03:23 GMT2
The woman knows she's at fault, but is saying that she has too many
points on her license and could she just pay me off in cash instead of
reporting.  I don't like that.  I think I should file all the proper
reports (police, insurance, etc.).  The collision just broke off some
