I own a 95 Probe SE (4 cyl) bought it new many moons ago. It had not been driven for about 10 days. I drove it about 10 miles lights on, evrything was fine. Driving home later that evening I had problems.

I need to get a decent car to handle the snow and ice. I have a seen alot of good reviews about the Audi A6 and Vovo XC 70 but these are way out of my price range. I'd like to spend no more than $30k (perfably $25K) - are there any suggestions for cars in this price

Also on the KTLA News at 10:00 is a report about an underground parking garage at an Anaheim apartment complex that flooded during the rainstorm. The lower level was flooded completely up to the ceiling; every single vehicle that was parked down there is a total loss.

Lets say I am taking an off-ramp that merges into a 2-lane road. If the closest lane to me is clear, but the farther lane has traffic, can I still merge into the closest lane or am I required to wait for ALL traffic to clear.

Does anyone have a lasting fix for the degradation of the plastic headlight lenses used in some of today's cars? I've polished them with a plastic polish/cleaner with good results,but it doesn't last that long.94 Integra I've noticed that Neons are much worse,BTW.
