| It's back ! NAFTA National ID Legislation incl. Driver Lic. Agreement | 28 Feb 2005 16:23 GMT | 4 |
Well, today, a bill - HR418 "Real ID Act of 2005" has been introduced by Congressman F. James Sensenbrenner, JR (R-WI) that would rapidly implement a harsher National ID through your driver's license than the measures that were signed into law in the Intel bill under the 108th

| Traffic trial needs help | 28 Feb 2005 16:08 GMT | 3 |
I got a citation in Dec. 13, 2004 for "failure to stopping for a school bus while its red light flashing". I will defend myself on May 2, 2005 as I was informed. My question is if I could use that I never got "speedy trial (with 45 days)" as part of my defense (in MD). I

| Man Beats RLC Ticket | 28 Feb 2005 14:40 GMT | 39 |
In a (frustratingly vague) report on the KTLA Morning News, we're told a driver beat a $321 red light camera ticket. It's a little unclear, but the most reasonable interpretation of Patricia del Rio's report is that the man entered the intersection 0.6 seconds after the light

| if Pope dies, I'll peel all Jesus fishes off my Corolla | 27 Feb 2005 09:01 GMT | 15 |
If Pope dies, I will renounce my religion and convert to atheism. Quite frankly, Christians disappointed me by their inability to defend their views, while I was impressed by the strong stream of profanity and cliches atheists direct at them at will. Universal Soldier prefers to bet ...

| stop signs | 27 Feb 2005 07:22 GMT | 13 |
In the past two years, there have been 3 stop signs put up in my neighborhood. It's pretty stupid where they put them- at 3 way intersections, with a stopsign on every corner of the intersection (I would only put it on the bottom leg of the T). Are drivers too stupid to realize

| SUV Spontaneously Flips Over; Human Dead, But Dogs Survive | 26 Feb 2005 23:38 GMT | 79 |
Here's a case where an SUV spontaneously flipped itself over, rolling three times and killing the human driver. Fortunately, the two canine passengers survived. All of this was due, of course, to the fact that nobody was wearing their seat belt.

| Is it legal to hit other cars on the road? | 26 Feb 2005 21:40 GMT | 55 |
If I have the right of way, like on an X intersection with a minor road, where the minor road has stop signs, mine does not. If someone is making a left turn from the minor road onto my road, but his movement is blocked by cars in front of him. Is it legal for me to hit his car?

I got a letter from CRC saying that someone witness when I backed out my car, I hit another car at a car park 8 days ago. I went to the CRC, filled in a report. In the report I said that at that particular moment, I didn't realize that I hit a car. The officer at CRC inpected

| Bicyclists - Best way to punish drivers who endanger you | 26 Feb 2005 02:11 GMT | 292 |
Have a small squeeze jar of brake fluid attached horizontally to the handlebars and squirt some BF on the finish as the bastards whiz by you with 6 inch clearance. They'll never suspect a thing till they get home nor will the driver behind you see anything.

| How fast to drive with emergency tires? | 25 Feb 2005 23:17 GMT | 26 |
I just stepped on a nail and lost 40-pounds. I am swapping in a spare. The spare says I can go only 50-mph max; instead I will go 80 like the rest of the gangs. If I really need to go fast, what is the right way to do it on a spare?

| What would cars cost if they left off the silly frills? | 25 Feb 2005 22:28 GMT | 132 |
I think an automatic tranny is truly useful but power steering, brakes, and windows are a joke. Same with tinted glass and fancy paint jobs and a million other doodads like the warning light for the windshield washer fluid and turn signals emebedded in the side mirrors. No
