I learned my lesson the hard way a few years ago after I hit a pedestrian
who had entered the crosswalk in front of my car.  I was busy watching the
traffic to the left, waiting for an opening.  When I saw an opening, I hit
the gas, not realizing that she was in front of my car.  ...

I sometimes do this when traffic is heavy enough:
when coming upon a slow LLB SUV or minivan
(I dont like SUVs or minivans), I move level with it on
the right, and then match speed with it, preventing

The court gave me conviction in illinois bacause I failed to complete
the traffic school course. How does conviction affect my driving
record? If I get speeding ticket again, will they suspend my driving
license? What should I be prepared for?

... SUV drivers are really starting to feel the heat, and it's not even July
yet.  Somebody predicted $2.40 this summer, and folks thought they were
crazy.  It's already over $2.50 in some gas stations.
  More and more you are seeing articles in the paper on high gas prices .

Not while we have 110 americans killed  EVERY DAY on our highways.  And
thousands more injured. Terrorists are a microscopic problem compared
to speeders.

While waiting in the right-turn lane of an intersection, I saw an LLB on
the other side turn left onto a two-lane roadway from the left lane,
cutting off the traffic in the left-turn lane.  The Sloth then drove to
the next intersection, pulled halfway into the right-turn lane, ...

Has anyone a best guess figure for the power used in running engine
accessories, is it likely to be just a couple of hp each for the
alternator, a/c, power steering, water pump.

Whats the appeal of a sunroof?  Alot of cars come with them as luxury
options, but what's the point really  More aerodynamic drag?  Leaking roofs?
Skin cancer?  Why not just get a convertible if you want "fresh air" and an
unhealthy tan?

Friend of mine from Chicago tells me he has 2 old speeding
tickets (got them in IL) he hasnt paid. I told him he can

Speeding is a deadly crime.  I'm sick of these speeders telling people
to stay out of the left lane because it's meant for passing.  That's
not the way THEY use it.

We're going to be driving from the OC up to Santa Cruz and want to
take PCH. Any caveats? For example, I've heard that sometimes PCH can
be "fogged out," making driving exceedingly dangerous. Is it safe to
assume that all the mudslides have been cleaned up by now? :)

The scene: the parking lot at the local Post Orifice. I'm in my car,
heading for the exit. I'm in a narrow driveway, one that has a one-way
arrow painted on the pavement. It points in the direction I am going.
As I near the main driveway, a remarkably fat and hideous woman
