Should we call them LLDs instead of LLBs14 Apr 2005 14:22 GMT21
For Left Lane Drivers.  Left lane blockers sounds so negative.  LLDs
are wonderful people who save lives by slowing down the deadly speeders.

Tell your congressman you DEMAND RETURN OF THE 55 MPH SPEED LIMIT13 Apr 2005 23:14 GMT149
Improving our gas mileage is a way we can all reduce america's need
for oil and thus end this war and bring our soldiers home before bush
kills and maims thousands more.  And, of course, it will also save
thousands of civilian lives every year on our own highways like it did
Tire pressure warning system  for cars MANDATORY by 200813 Apr 2005 21:51 GMT58
Yeah - this expensive frill might save a handful of lives a year, but
lower speed limits and mandatory prison for speeders and DUIs would
save 20 thousand lives and billions of $.

Now, let me see if I've got this straight.
As a regular citizen motorist, if I get caught
speeding I'll be required to pay a ticket.  If

fuel economy in car commercials13 Apr 2005 05:34 GMT223
I've noticed three times in the past week fuel economy has been mentioned
in a car commercial I have seen.   It's interesting to watch because
normally I don't think fuel economy is mentioned at all.
The Toyota Prius car commercial didn't talk about actual fuel economy much
Any tutorials for driving with manual transmission?12 Apr 2005 20:33 GMT10
I haven't driven a manual transmission car since I attended driving
school many, many years ago.  Recently, I've tried using a car that
wasn't an automatic, and it's been a disaster.
Are there any web based tutorials that'll help refresh my memory on
Tucson Cracks Down on Arrogant Pedalcyclists12 Apr 2005 19:14 GMT5
It's great to see arrogant pedalcyclists, such as the one in the story
who got a $133 ticket for riding his bike in a crosswalk, finally
getting the law enforcement attention they so richly deserve. It's
also interesting to note that, despite the fact that motorists

Damn Ducklings!12 Apr 2005 17:25 GMT1
This morning on one of those lovely 65 MPH four lane surface streets
we have around here, I was doing the speed limit and caught up to some
clown in a Range Rover doing 60 MPH. So I pull into the passing lane,
speed up to about 90 MPH, and pass him. I then return to the right
SUV attempted pass12 Apr 2005 12:12 GMT3
Was driving down 85 this weekend (1 lane each way) and saw an SUV try
to pass several cars and a semi.
He ended up driving off the road on the opposite side because at the
last second he realized he couldn't complete his pass and narrowly
Colorado cracks down on LLBs11 Apr 2005 22:42 GMT146
About time! Kudos to Ron Watkins and the Colorado state police.  Sure, there
are bigger problems, but if they're going to be enforcing traffic laws, how
about looking at issues that create problems - like left lane blockers
(LLBs).
