It is your entertainment space - many new models, like the popular
Toyota Scion T2B, sport rear windows that double as video screen.

What's comparable to a Camry?07 May 2005 16:36 GMT9
My current car is an old Geo Prizm, it has maybe a year or two left on
it, then it's time for a new car.  The Prizm was in a league with the
Totota Corolla.  So, I figure it's time to step up one notch.  In
Toyota-land, I think that would be a Camry.

Aack!  Had a CT experience.07 May 2005 00:33 GMT11
I had an experience on this morning's commute that made me think of Carl,
and the "out-of-nowhere," scenario.
Driving along, about 50mph in the left lane on an urban street.  A truck
ahead of me, in the right lane, slows to make a right turn.  I hear a
Bright red light in bumper06 May 2005 23:47 GMT16
I have seen a handful of cars recently that have a bright red
light in their rear bumper, at night. It is usually about 1/3
of the way in from the right-hand side of the bumper. This light
is brighter than the car's brake lights and even causes me some
Question about insurance - minor accident06 May 2005 23:14 GMT7
This is the first time I was involved in a car accident and I have
some questions - I hope I can get answers here.  Sorry that this
message
is a bit long, for such a minor issue...  :-(
Who pays for medical treatment following a car accident?06 May 2005 22:37 GMT27
I was recently rear-ended -- the accident was not my fault -- and I had
a rather rude surprise when I called my doctor.  The doctor's office
said that if I was coming in for a visit due to a car accident, that my
health insurance would not cover the cost of the visit.  Instead, I

My anti-tailgater attachment06 May 2005 13:17 GMT6
After years of work, I have developed a device that actually stops
tailgaters.  Using the pump from a power washer, I rigged the pump to
my engine and connected the hose and nozzle to the rear bumper of my
car.  In my trunk I have a ten gallon tank recovered from a well water
Not All LLBs Are Like Aunt Judy06 May 2005 02:56 GMT5
Found this little report on another automotive forum. In it, the
author relates how he got pissed off because a cop was tailgating him
while he was LLBing. He expresses his self-righteous indignation by
"lighting 'em up" next to the cop and driving away.

Slowing down to save oil might not be an option05 May 2005 22:26 GMT40
Once again, people are floating the idea of a 55 MPH limit to save
fuel. This time, a peak in world oil production is looming and it's not
like the 1970s when we still had decades of denial to screw around
with.
Help: Speeding Ticket in Atlanta05 May 2005 16:37 GMT3
I got a speeding ticket on the highway tonight at the splitting point of
75N/85N near midtown Atlanta. This is the first time I am getting a
ticket. I was caught at 70 in a 55mph zone. Could anybody please tell me
if theres any chance that this ticket will be waived. And if so, ...
this study should be redone for driving05 May 2005 15:35 GMT4
Ever notice how slow interstate speeds like 55mph just cause a person to drift
off, pay attention to crap on the side of the road, not judge things well?
