How to win speeding ticket13 Sep 2005 21:16 GMT34
Hello, y'all,
I got a speeding ticket in Texas on 7/31. I thought I was doing 45, the cop
wrote me up for 71. He let away the car ahead of me that was going much
faster and changing lanes without signalling.

OT?: mechanic leaves ball joint bolt lose, & non-crimped wheel nut13 Sep 2005 05:35 GMT2
Three weeks ago, we had our 1997 Mazda 626's right axle & CV boot replaced
at a garage with a good rep. There have since been some clunking noises on
turns, and the steering wheel shook at 60 mph+. I live in Nova Scotia,
Canada.
Why are LLBers and some pedestrians retarded?13 Sep 2005 00:22 GMT3
Last night when I was coming in around 1am, I was northbound on a 4
lane (two each way) divided highway, with the division being a width
of asphalt. This stretch of road is relatively rural, and there are no
street lights in the area. I noted 3 kids, probably mid-teens, walking

proposals. We are very happy that these times are here. We executives
are the kind of people who care so much for Society !
A fearless cyclist12 Sep 2005 14:42 GMT1
Last night I was on the East side on Indy, on US40/Washington street, around 10 pm.
It was dark, and that is a very rundown area of Indy  with few street lights.
I suddenly came upon a Black dude nonchalantly riding a crappy mountain bike
without any lights in the  middle of the ...

Aftermarket trip computers like Scangauge.12 Sep 2005 06:04 GMT2
I am looking for a trip computer that is similar to Scangauge (
http://scangauge.com/ ), but smaller in size.  I like Scangauge's
functionality and the fact that it's powered by the OBD2 connection,
but it's a little bulky.  The price is nice too.  I am not overly

Become Fuel Efficient Using GPS Tracking11 Sep 2005 20:58 GMT9
For the fleet owners or managers, the quickest way to maximize your
fuel dollars is with a GPS tracking device.  If you can see everywhere
the trucks have been, how likely is it that your employees will run
around needlessly on personal errands in a company truck.  At

My plans for driving cross country in mid-October fell through due to
illness, and now I will need to drive in End of November/early December.
I am driving from NYC to Seattle, and driving a VW Golf in good shape with
new all-seasons. The car will be loaded to the hilt including ...
Watch out for snitch tickets in CA11 Sep 2005 00:27 GMT5
Don't fall for fake red light camera tickets, a.k.a "snitch tickets"
or "nominations."
The fake red light camera tickets come in the mail, from the POLICE!
