Which car gives the most bang for the buck?28 Jan 2006 17:37 GMT7

handling, all-weather/bad terrain capability, backseat, trunk.
And all that for a reasonable price.
MFFY Du Jour for Friday, 1/27/200628 Jan 2006 15:48 GMT5
This is an aerial photograph of the "Kiss 'n Ride" area at the Tustin
Metrolink station.  This morning, some guy was dropping his wife (a
nurse, judging from the clothing) off at the station. He drove right
past four perfectly good parking spaces and stopped his BMW in the

Once upon a time Dad loaded the whole family in the car and headed for
a series of attractions such as Yellowstone, Pikes Peak, Sequoia, Grand
Canyon, and maybe a few cities thrown in, all to have a good time and
educate the kids to the wonders of nature and to expereince new places ...

Why Pedestrians are Invisible to Drivers27 Jan 2006 05:45 GMT22
Once again as I walked to the train station this morning I was nearly
run down, this time by a young Asian female driver. This occurred at
an intersection adjacent to the one where the MFFY flip-over
colllision occurred last week (look for that one in tomorrow's Irvine
LPG tune up - Falcon ED - Lavato installation27 Jan 2006 04:20 GMT1
Does anyone have a diagram or directions for a self tune up of LPG
converter and regulator? A web link would be great. Thanks.
More clueless female SUV drivers...27 Jan 2006 03:39 GMT8
Here's something funny that happened to me on Sunday.
I was meeting up with a couple of friends at a coffee shop before going
to test drive new cars, and since I was only going to be a few minutes I
parked my BMW right outside. While we were inside I noticed a woman in a

Same Surprise - for over 30 years26 Jan 2006 23:22 GMT28
We've all come upon a situation where high-speed traffic on a freeway
suddenly slows to a crawl, usually due to an accident up ahead.  In such
situations there are usually some drivers with an equally sudden "need" to
exit the freeway at the first available exit; such drivers ...

This showed up in my email box today. It has all the earmarks of an
Urban Legend, but I'm posting it here for the amusement value. ;)

There I was taking my family shopping, traveling on the interstate in
a 65MPH zone, doing about 5 over on cruise.  At some point I noticed a
car that was probably doing 65 to 68, just slightly slower.  At the
rate I was approaching, I was able to observe him occasionally pass a
Road Rage Humor26 Jan 2006 03:39 GMT1
On the lighter side of things when it comes to Road Rage, I found this
while watching the local news. It's hilarious. It's basically a flip
book of everything you've ever wanted to say to an annoying driver.
