I fought the law and the law lost19 Jan 2006 09:30 GMT71
Well I had a really enjoyable day in court today.  You see recently I
was ticketed for going around an a.shole.  The a.shole was moving,
hitting his brakes, moving, braking, et cetera.  Cops aren't really
smart enough to see anyone but the one car in front of them.  So when

On this ticket, the VIN number is totally incorrect.
With this information, can I contest and any possibility to win and do

Arizona Cameras aimed at driver face19 Jan 2006 04:13 GMT7
Here is an open question I have had for a while. Cameras are being
mounted on all intersections in Arizona. They are pointed at the front
of the vehicles stopped or moving throught the intersection. Why would
they do this in AZ when the licence plate is only on the rear of the

He Had a Hemi19 Jan 2006 03:11 GMT12
So I'm pulling onto the freeway. Traffic is typical SoCal - light to
moderate by our standards - and moving about 70 - 75 MPH. There's a
car in the right lane; it's going with the flow, but a nice big gap in
front of it, so I accelerate and merge about three carlengths in

Compact Parking Only18 Jan 2006 17:09 GMT23
I recently noticed a "Compact Parking Only" parking restriction on a public
street in Manhattan Beach, CA.
We've all seen such restrictions in parking lots (and we've seen huge SUVs
unable to fit within the lines).
Slow Down! Your Family is Waiting for You!!18 Jan 2006 05:17 GMT58
Just saw a smarmily sanctimonious TV commercial. It shows a guy
driving an SUV, intercut with a child's birthday party; the
implication is that this man is rushing home because he's late for his
son's birthday. They show the man passing other vehicles on the

Berkeley's Fancy Parking Machines17 Jan 2006 16:20 GMT2
I guess I need to stay away from Shattuck. They have these parking
machines where there's no stalls. You buy a ticket with the time you
paid for, and stick it on your window.  They need to put up bigger
signs or something.  When you're in a hurry, you don't sit there and
Drunk driver critically maims two kids - WHERE'S THE OUTRAGE?17 Jan 2006 02:17 GMT19
If he had molested the kids, the public would want him tortured to
death but when a reckless driver kills or maims kids, the attitude
becomes - "hey, i'm a reckless driver too so lets forget about this."

I just ran over my ex-wife with her car.16 Jan 2006 22:10 GMT5
I just ran over my ex-wife with her car.  It was her fault for running
out in front of the car when I was driving it out of the mud for her.
I could had the engine going full boar when she ran in front.  I slid
and ran right over her head.  She's died immediately.
