Most of the time, when there are multiple lanes that lead to the same
destination, traffic is distributed reasonably evenly among the lanes.  Some
individuals make some of their lane choices based on which lane has fewer
cars ahead.

I received the following notice via email:

Is K.C. a good place to live?  As far as being a drivable city with
adequate roads and parking?  How good is snow removal?  Friendly
atmosphere?  Is it gay friendly?  She said she was considering the move
to K.C., MO for a job offering but is reluctant to take it.

We're supposed to get a lot of snow today and the city says you have to
park your car on the even side of the street so the plows can get thru.
