Road Safety Advertisements24 Mar 2006 21:26 GMT8
While the South Australian government is preaching the "Speed Kills"
mantra like so many governments around the world, I was surprised to see
that they're also trying to quash inattentive driving.  Some of you may

Double Dose of MFFY24 Mar 2006 06:41 GMT22
Some pics from my trip over the weekend.

alongside. Not sure why this MFFY felt the need to back up
perpendicular to the row of pumps, but he certainly didn't mind the

There's a Cadillac TV commercial where two guys are parking
their respective cars in a parking garage.
One guy starts slowly backing into a space labeled "CEO", and
a second guy slides his car into the adjacent (?) space.  Then

another Coyote rolled his pickup truck full of wetbacks all over the
road, I duck off at Buckman Springs Road and take Old US 80. As I

TOLERABLE PETRO PRICES22 Mar 2006 21:12 GMT14
As a democratic country, where the government seems to care about its
people, Venezuela's petro (gasoline) price is about 95% lower that of
Australia and the US. As the fuel prices climb, our groceries also get
jacked up as well. The question is how high would the fuel cost have to
False Advertising22 Mar 2006 14:22 GMT1
Good thing the truth-in-advertising laws don't apply to license
plates. Her vanity plate read a variation of the phrase "Fly Girl,"
but in reality she was a SLOTH GIRL. Amazingly enough, she was driving
a BMW sedan on the same stretch of road as the other BMW from a couple
So I get pulled over twice in one day22 Mar 2006 03:18 GMT39
For using selective yellow HID bulbs in my headlamps.  I actually got
these bulbs back in early January and have had no problems (till today).

illegal in VA).
Choked freeways will just get worse21 Mar 2006 19:38 GMT30
I haven't been to Tucson for about a year now. I was pleasantly
surprised to find that I-10 has been widened to six lanes all the way
to Tangerine Road in Marana - and it really makes a huge difference -
at least on a Saturday afternoon. Now if they would only widen it the
Do any cars come with an AT drain plug.?21 Mar 2006 16:39 GMT10

to change the fluid that ofter and if they put a plug in, it may leak.
But by forcing people to pull the pan to drain the fluid - well... that
is even more likely to cause a leak if you don't get the gasket lined
Misconceptions about the South21 Mar 2006 13:47 GMT19
#1  The South is slow.
In what way?  The motorists in the suburbs of Charleston South Carolina
drive faster than most angelinos or Orange Countonians in CA!!!  They
don't even talk slow as some people claim.  Its only that sometimes the
