More stupid cop tricks for Jaybird...06 Apr 2006 03:57 GMT14
Ok, keep your panties on.
First, I heard on the radio today that the cops pulled over a car full
of drunks.  They all got out (unknown how many) and the cop had to ask
them to get back in the vehicle.  The driver refused.  The cop had to
Even moe stupid cop tricks05 Apr 2006 23:59 GMT148
The other day I was driving through a small city in Illinois, when I
noticed a cop come out of a cross street through a red light.  He
turned in front of me to go the other way.  Fortunately I know enough
to recognize that if a cop is moving he is dangerous, so I avoided
BMW driver without any scruples               ( Video- Footage )05 Apr 2006 21:42 GMT4
A BMW driver without any scruples. I hope this guy's drivers license
and car disappears soon from the radar. He can be lucky not to have
crashed into the opposite traffic at the on-ramp. Just ridiculous ....

Video of Driving 55 - Funny05 Apr 2006 19:11 GMT9
Some of you will get a kick out of this.  A bunch of people got
together to drive 55 on the freeway in all lanes.  Plenty of cameras
catch the action.  :-)  What will happen? <gasp> ;-)

VW GTI  vs  Honda Si05 Apr 2006 14:03 GMT8
Has anyone test driven both cars?  What were your impressions?  From
the spec sheets the Honda is tons more revv happy than the GTI.  The
GTI uses a turbocharger and the Si uses VETEC.  The GTI produces more
usable HP at far lower RPMs than the Si.  The Si's redline is above
Use of shoulder when turning right05 Apr 2006 06:45 GMT25
Near my house there is a two lane rural highway with wide shoulders,
posted at 55 mph.
Most drivers, when turning right into driveways orside streets, first

Elderly Proctorville woman dies in head-on crash that she caused05 Apr 2006 06:23 GMT23
Why in the hell does the motor vehicle department let aged old crones
like this old bag drive huge automobiles around  on the highways and
kill innocent people?

More proof that the oil isn't running out.05 Apr 2006 05:40 GMT6
Just that it won't be quite as cheap or profitable for big oil to use
other reserves. In the article below, it describes that like oil sands in
Alberta, Venezuela also has oil reserves that exceed those of Saudi
Arabia, just not the cheapest sort of oil to make gasoline etc from. ...
No help or wrong help for Detroit?04 Apr 2006 23:01 GMT252
With automotive supplies (Delphi, J L French, and now Dana)
running for bankruptcy protection, it must be wondered if GM
and Ford can be far behind.  The President has vowed no help
for Detroit, and cautioned the automakers about their obligation

Apparently SUV backlash is alive and well, at least among the geekful
community.

Now I've Seen it All04 Apr 2006 05:04 GMT14
Anyone who lives in suburbia these days has seen the arrogant MFFY
parents who block off a section of the street (usually a cul-de-sac,
but not always) with orange cones and big yellow "Slow Down! Children
Playing!!" signs so that the lazy a.sholes don't have to actually take

to my office.
I decided to stay in #4 because the asshat in front of me wasn't

with the letter T inside a circle on the trunk lid. Any ideas?
Thanks.
