I saw an ad for a Lincoln Navigator SUV.  They were bragging about its power
running boards.  What the hell?  Why would anybody need power running
boards?  This hulking beast of a vehicle represents everything that is wrong
with modern vehicles.

Detroit tells us that t having the windows open increases the wind
resistance and uses even more gas than using the AC.  I have seen no
evidence for that and suspect it is just a goddam lie detroit invented
to justify putting $1000 AC in every car.  Certainly in low speed city
