Another Day, Another Rollover Death on I-1020 Aug 2006 18:04 GMT7
Once again the reporters got their facts wrong: there is no such thing
as a "high-speed lane" on I-10 in that area - every lane is a
low-speed lane.

Black car vs White car in summer heat20 Aug 2006 17:25 GMT24
Is there a big difference in how hot the interior of a car gets
depending if the exterior is black or white?
For instance a 2006 Black Toyota Camry with Black leather interior vs a
2006 White Toyota Camry with a light Beige cloth interior.  Will the

What is up with Consumer Reports Slamming this car?  In many words of
their reports & opinions they basically in a fancy manner said that the
car was a piece of sh.t.
As a Rebuttal.  What else do they expect?  You pay $14,000 USD for a

97 honda accord ex v6 shakes when braking over 60 mph20 Aug 2006 05:47 GMT3
Hi, I'm thinking of buying a 97 honda accord ex v6 with 100k miles on
it. I like it just fine, the only problem is is that it shakes quite
noticeably  when i brake on the highway over 60. Is this something that
must be fixed or is it likely that the car is safe with this problem
Dang Those Uncontrollable Cars!!20 Aug 2006 05:02 GMT27
Here we have another car that lost control of itself and killed an
occupant. I say we all contact our representatives and ask them to
force whoever manufactured this uncontrollable car to recall them from
the roads so that the flaw can be corrected.

Here's why inept riceboy punks should never try to lower the
suspension on their cars themselves:

Hybrids and accidents19 Aug 2006 18:34 GMT3

The above article got me to wanting to know, has anyone given any
thought into what happens when a hybrid (which I am assuming have rather
large batteries) gets crunched in an accident?
Poetic Justice19 Aug 2006 16:26 GMT92
Having a son who graduated high school a couple of years ago, I know
EXACTLY how big a stigma it is for high school kids to ride the school
bus these days. This judge is BRILLIANT - I hope to see her on the
Supreme Court one day.
Speeds in car pool lanes19 Aug 2006 04:23 GMT2
First, a little background.  I just moved back home to SoCal after
living in other states for many years.  Most recently, I lived in Texas
(in the North Dallas area) where people make up their own rules as they
go along, such as driving 25MPH in the left lane of the freeway--with ...

Some of you may recall the incident I reported a few weeks ago where
some geezer in a gigundo RV intentionally ran a red light, and leaned
on his horn as he approached the intersection to let the other cars
know he was coming. Well, the idea is apparently spreading. Today I
Driving in summer on winter tyres19 Aug 2006 00:34 GMT4
I have no experience of driving on winter tyres or using snow chains. I'm
going to be driving for some months in continental Europe and I'm wondering
which option to go for. If I opt for winter tyres, do I really need to
change them back again when spring comes? What will be the ...
Increasing the highway speeds.18 Aug 2006 20:36 GMT38
Canada has a relatively low speed limit (100 km/hr in some spots, 110
in others). I read somewhere that Texas has an 80 mph speed limit
(129km/hr). Does Montana still have no speed limit? Just curious.

Help: rear-end crash, the front driver has no third brake light18 Aug 2006 19:21 GMT25
It was really bad thunder storm last night. The visibility was very
low. I was following the slow-moving (~40 mph) traffic on the
interstate. Suddenly, the car in front of me turned really close (His
third brake light must be broken, the visibility was even lower under
