What do you do when you are a passenger, and the driver is LLBing? In my area, it's socially unacceptable to criticise someone else's driving, even if it is constructive criticism. Doubly so if they are doing something that most people don't consider to be bad driving.

I got into an accident a few days ago. Basically my car skidded on the road (which was wet due to rain the night before) and I rear-ended the car in front of me. The damages were fairly minimal, broken headlight for me and a slight bumper damage for the car in front.

A friend of mine who was travelling thru Iowa (I'm assuming westbound on I-80) called me to let me know he just got pulled over by Iowa State Patrol as part of a *federal* (DOT) crackdown on trailer violations. He lives in Lincoln, NE and was on his way back home.

I got a speeding ticket going 88 at a 65 zone. I called the court, they said I just have to pay the fine and not have to appear in court. My question is will it show up on my CA record and cause increase in insurance premium? thanks
