I saw a "NO PASSING NEXT 15 MILES" sign north of Adelanto, CA on
southbound US-395.  I thought I understood what it meant until, one
mile later, I encountered a "PASSING LANE 2 MILES" sign.  2 miles
later, the promised passing lane appeared.

Just heard on the late news:  Australia is raising the limit on some
stretches of highways to 160kph (100 mph).  Being done as a test and it
