On my daily commute in Los Angeles (I-405 between US-101 and CA-90), I pass a jumble of signs that purport to be either the starting point or the ending point of Construction or Road Work. The oddest one is End Road Work, located near the Venice Blvd exit
Lake Shore Drive is about to go onto its winter speed limit, dropping from an already too low 45 MPH to a ridiculously low 40 MPH. LSD is a MAJOR freeway, with at least 8 lanes - a road that here in SoCal would have at least a 60 MPH speed limit. But not in C(r)ook County! I guess
