The Tamiami Trail serves as an economic pipeline between Tampa and
Miami.  Spanning 275 miles long, the route helps divert traffic away
from Interstate 75 and serve the local economy.  The Trail is also a

I Exasperated a MFFY Today12 Jan 2007 01:18 GMT11
MFFY bitch in a red pickup truck is waiting to turn out of a shopping
center driveway onto a busy 50 MPH road. I'm in the right lane on said
road. There is a fairly sizeable gap between me and the car in front,

Can an European without driver's license make the drivers license during a vacation in the USA?11 Jan 2007 06:58 GMT6
I have a 21 year old niece in Switzerland. She is a student and would
like to come to the USA between semesters and make her driver's license

She is no American citizen but has Swiss papers to identify herself. So
behind-the-wheel driving test11 Jan 2007 03:53 GMT20
I was just wondering which states require you to bring your own vehicle
to take a behind-the-wheel driving test.  Also, what do people do if
they don't have a vehicle they can bring and no one will lend theirs?
Truck drivers and cell phones10 Jan 2007 15:10 GMT21
I recently was on a tour bus and was surprised to noticed the number
of truck drivers who yak on their cell phones. Most did NOT have a
hands free device. How do they change gears with one hand? I never
noticed truck drivers talking on the cell, since from way down low in
OT, but priceless.10 Jan 2007 02:42 GMT16

They're going electric in the Motor City, Detroit -- well, maybe not
just yet.
But it made for a nice "buzz" as the world auto industry gathered at
one of its premier events, the North American International Auto Show,

Dave Head,
I'd like to present some numbers relating directly to the feasibility
of your space shield global warming "cure". These calculations assume
impossibly light materials that most likely do not exist. A real shield
