Once again a little snow has closed the 5. They shut it down yesterday and don't expect to re-open it until later today. The alternate route only takes about 45 minutes, but thousands of Truckers have chosen to spend the night in Castaic (or Arvin) and wait out the closure.

My friend in California sent me a file that has a clip from Italy. In it, there is a Lamborghini police car. 500 hp, 309kph, blue flashing lights, television, electronic recording and recognition devices, lots of stuff. A nice interview. Anyone else seen this going around?

I tend to speed when tired, and the more tired I get, the more I speed. The reason is that I want to get to destination to rest ASAP. Also, fatigue reduces inhibitions, and that makes me less cautious. Does this happen to you too?
