Why do people get vanity license plates??15 Apr 2007 15:53 GMT20
It just makes it easier for someone to see and remember your plate if
you're involved in a hit-and-run, a crime which has now reached epidemic

cars, a rebuke to Bush administration policy on global warming.
BUSH AT THE GAS PUMP15 Apr 2007 02:44 GMT19
For those of us who are feeling the pinch at the pumps lately ($3.00
plus/gallon of regular unleaded), we can imagine Bush's face in the
toilet every time we take a dump. This is the a.shole who has been
collaborating with the oil cartel to screw the American consumers.
Imaginary Progress on CA Exit Numbers14 Apr 2007 21:24 GMT20
I've been following the progress that the various districts of
Caltrans have been making in posting Exit Numbers on every freeway in
California.  Caltrans maintains a web site of every exit from every
freeway, indicating the planned exit number for each exit; when an
More stupidity14 Apr 2007 15:50 GMT5
There's a little shopping center that I sometimes find myself in.
The main road you can exit (or enter) from has a dedicated acceleration
lane block with a big solid white line.
Quite often, I find myself stuck behind someone sitting at the stop sign
Sick Of It14 Apr 2007 09:20 GMT22
Hey, I got an idea!  Lets get out of Iraq!
Yeah, just pull up stakes and leave. Afghanistan, too.  In fact, include Korea,
Germany, Turkey, and every other overseas base we have.
Lets not stay in Iraq and continue to cause the enemy to spend money attempting

Bonjour,
Joyeux Vendredi treize.  Ne vous inquiétez pas!  Il n'y a pas d'engin
piégé à la Worldwide Highway Library.  On peut trouver cependant

Are cleaner cars the main and only answer to curtail the production of global warming gases?13 Apr 2007 21:40 GMT6
No I don't believe that we can fight the war on air pollution simply
by pressing for cleaner burning automobiles.
Think about it. Automobiles primarily run off of fossil fuel. Gas or
Diesel. With the emissions controls that are on our autos nowadays the
If you nothing wrong, you have nothing to fear. FALSE!13 Apr 2007 21:25 GMT2
Those who support vehicle siezure and crushing laws think they will
always be applied to that other guy, those bad people. That it is perfectly
acceptable to short circuit due process, etc and so forth.
Well here we are again, another "mistake" that makes the news.
KRETP?  Nope...13 Apr 2007 15:28 GMT15
KRETP is obsolete.  The right lane is not the "travel" lane, it's the

This here is how we should drive on our highways:
A Sign of the Apocalypse?13 Apr 2007 08:37 GMT1
I was stopped at a red light last night. Just as my light turned
green, a car zipped through the intersection on the cross street in
front of me and made a left turn. A cop, who had been driving right
behind this guy, followed him through the intersection and
Sometimes it's okay to make someone brake when moving into passing lane13 Apr 2007 06:14 GMT33
About an hour ago, I was cruising up I-25 at about 80 in the right lane.
I had been in the left lane, but moved to the right after completing my
pass.
There was a guy in the left lane who had been behind me while I passed.
