Virginia now gives out $3500 fines for speeding!!! - YAAAYYYY09 Aug 2007 01:04 GMT80
Good.  No criminal coddling here. Speeders are kid-killers and
kid-cripplers and deserve this and more.

SURPRISE - Minneapolis in effect has a 7 death bridge collapse EVERY WEEK08 Aug 2007 22:42 GMT15
The metro area has a liitle over 3 million people which is 1% of
america's population and since america has around 800 highway deaths
every week that means minneapolis must have 8 or so. And the city could
easily put a stop to these murders   by cracking down on highway
For Sale: Inductive Timing Light; $2508 Aug 2007 02:30 GMT2
Automotive Inductive Timing Light. Sears Craftsman; chromed steel with
hard case and instructions. As new; perfect. About 20 years old, but
used maybe 3 times.
Sears advertises a new one for $49.99 on their website, but it doesn’t
Coffee?08 Aug 2007 01:49 GMT2
At traffic signal waiting to turn left when DAB came barreling down in right
lane. Had cell in left and monster coffee in right. Suddenly realized that
vehicle in her lane at signal was stopped. Slammed brakes and coffee went
all over inside of windshield, dash, headliner, etc. ...
Nissan develops super-sophisticated system to stop drunk drivers08 Aug 2007 00:13 GMT13
This is all part of a scam to add a multi-thousand dollar gadget to the
cost ofall cars. The solution to drunk drivers is to throw them in
prison for a few years and permanently revoke their license. Stop
coddling these killers.

Save our bridges by reducing traffic - Take away driver's license of speeders and DUIs05 Aug 2007 21:33 GMT23
Of course, this should be done anyway since reckless drivers are killers
and maimers, but now we have another compelling reason.  And it won't
cost a thing except to these highway criminals and only a coddler
worries about that.
Geezers : Farmer's Markets :: Tornadoes : Trailer Parks05 Aug 2007 17:41 GMT14
When will we WAKE UP and start taking these geezers' licenses away
BEFORE they crash?
At least no innocent people were injured - THIS TIME.

Darwin Was About 45 Years Too Late05 Aug 2007 17:39 GMT13
BTW, I disagree with the title of this article. Anyone stupid enough
to drive into a flooded wash deserves whatever fate they earn. But
this geezer was driving an all-powerful SUV, so he no doubt felt he
could ford (pun intended) the raging river. Unfortunately for us he
"Speed" Kills Again05 Aug 2007 17:32 GMT5
Yet another disingenuous news report on a fatal car crash. Despite
drugs and alcohol being the obvious primary causes of the collision,
"speed" is listed FIRST, as if it were the most significant factor in
causing the crash.
Tell the Nanny-State Republicans to Shove Their War on Drugs05 Aug 2007 17:07 GMT10
Only drug crime that warrants a prison sentence is drunk driving since
those criminals are kid-killers and kid-kripplers. Everyone convicted of
mere illegal drug possession should be released.  I don't need some
nanny-stater like george bush (who has a DUI conviction) preaching ...
Do 100 mph in a car full of drugs?  No problem if you're Al Gore's son05 Aug 2007 00:27 GMT45
His guilty plea is provisional.  If he stays out of trouble for the next
year or so, the drug charges will likely be dropped. And the extreme
speeding was charged as an infraction, not a felony or even a misdemeanor!!
