Makes a ton of sense to me but i don't think any state or city does that.
Similarly, if a cop (on or off duty) is caught drunk driving he should
automatically be terminated.

I would love to videotape those traffic signals both before and after
the RLCs are installed, just to watch the yellow light times get
shorter.

In various parts of the L.A. freeway system, Caltrans operates
variable message signs that list the driving time to upcoming
destinations.  Caltrans recently abandoned their policy of listing the
driving time to the nearest 5 minutes.

We have found a used car that we want to buy.  The sellers are upside-
down; they owe a bit more than they are getting for the car.  They
need our money to pay off the loan so we cannot get a clear title at
the same time that we give them money.

I keep finding this again and again in stories. Everything from turning
regular freeways and interstates to congestion fees to now a toll to
enter DC. And it's not like its really the revenue given the costs of
setting these things up in the first place.

As I approached a red light yesterday, some fool was in the process of
weaseling his way into the left turn lane at nearly the last moment.
He was still partially blocking my path as I was in the leftmost
through lane, but I was able to get around him.

I don't think the self driving cars are going to be extensions of what
we have now.  It's not going to be just a bunch of stuff added to your
Lexus.  In the same way that many people are already saying that if
there was a reasonably priced all electric car that could get them

So, what would change?
As I observed before, traffic tickets would go away for "bad driving".  Cops
would be reduced to complaining about equipment infractions such as bald tires.
Kids wouldn't necessarily have to be driven where they want to go by some
