ABC7 is reporting on a carjacking attempt in the Crenshaw District (of
Los Angeles). The owner of the stolen car apparently beat the sh.t out
of the would-be carjacker, who is now lying in an ambulance.

Enroute home from work: stopped at a convenience store, then tried to
leave.  Some unskilled driver in a pickup did a U-turn on the street
and almost took out a curb, right in front of me.  Fortunately I was
already stopped.
