Another Mile Long Line of Morons15 May 2008 16:32 GMT4
Yes, once again a whole shitload of morons in East Haven, CT wait in
line for hours just to get a tank full of cheap gasoline. Some of
these dorks slept in their cars overnight while they waited for the
gas station to open at 6:00 AM.
Thoughts on gas prices15 May 2008 15:17 GMT2
I am pretty tired of the whole gas is $4 and the sky is falling
hysteria.
I just bought a 20 oz Diet Pepsi for $1.25 from a machine at work.
That's $8 a gallon! And I'll usually drink 4 of those (sometimes more)
Road Conditions LA to Vegas?15 May 2008 14:03 GMT7
I'm contemplating a road trip from SoCal to Vegas this weekend.
However, I know there's been a lot of road construction on the 15; how
are the traffic conditioons these days? Anything I should watch out
for?
Lowest marked "Pass"15 May 2008 10:14 GMT20
A few years ago I was driving across country with a friend from
Colorado.  When I mentioned that our route into the Bay Area included
Altamont Pass, he asked how high it was. When I answered that it was
about 1,000 feet (1,009 per Wikipedia) he just laughed.  "A real Pass
YES!!!! US$4.00 gas is here!!!!!15 May 2008 03:40 GMT5
Well  it was for the super, but the US4.00 gas has arrived in south
georgia! And you know what I did? I marched (or more appropriately
drove) right in to that gas station (one of Chavez's Citgo stations, I
believe) and I BOUGHT SOME! And damed if my car didn't run better for
This is Why CA Has Graduated Licensing15 May 2008 02:53 GMT33
California has a graduated licensing program for teenaged drivers.
Newly licensed drivers under 18 may not:

first twelve months.
~$4/gal gas, what annoys me most so far.15 May 2008 01:34 GMT1
1) All the 1970s sloth idiotcy. Because of these fools I can't tie one
green light into the next as much as before. This means more stopping,
longer trips, more congestion, lower fuel economy.
2) People who haven't been on a bicycle in decades. I have never seen

MTA Ridership is WAY UP14 May 2008 23:59 GMT141
KTLA's top story at 6:30 is the sharp increase in ridership on MTA
trains. They attribute the increase to high gasoline prices, citing
one commuter who takes the subway even though he just purchased a
fuel-efficient car.
Queen of the Road (Cadillac Suv)14 May 2008 23:47 GMT4
Cadillac Suv
The name evokes images of high quality luxury cars. A car brand that
has been always associated with superior make, precision car
technology and innovation. It has become ingrained in our vocabulary
good day/bad day14 May 2008 23:28 GMT-
this AM: bad.  Traffic signal is out at intersection of two major roads.
Killed what little faith I had left in humanity - instead of following
accepted rules for dead signal, intersection turned into a free for all.
Kind of bad when you have five lanes crossing three.  if ...

$126 A Barrel - Can $7 / Gallong Be Far Away14 May 2008 23:05 GMT33
Geez, $126 a barrel today.
Well, in a year or 2, the gas oughta be about $7 a gallon.  Chevy Volt should
sell really well, along with some really fuel efficient bikes.
Only saving grace in the whole thing is not having to share the road, when we
