Was waxing my punto at the weekend and noticed that my old style Fiat badge
is starting to look a bit faded and erm, crappy looking.
How would I go about getting rid of it? A friend suggested heating it with
a hairdrier and then king of prising it off.

Came to change the cambelt on my Tipo this weekend, did the basic stuff
first removing cover, popping off the fan belt, etc, then came to remove the
pulley off the crankshaft - it will NOT come off. I've tried having an
assistant stick the car in 4th and floor the brake pedal whilst ...

Would like some sort of Haynes style manual for my 99 V punto ELX but it
seems Haynes only do one for the pre 99 old shape. Does anyone know of any
other good manuals for some diy fiddling?

The Fiat Uno 45 FIRE 999 1988 has a breakerless igntion system. In
the distributor a four-poled rotor passes a magnetic coil pickup and
induces a voltage which switches the ignition coil primary current
via some sort of electronic unit.

I've just bought a 1995 Punto TD SX 1.7 - all seems to be fine except
that a red light comes on - the turbo overboost light, according to
the manual - whenever I'm accelerating at about 75-80mph in fifth
gear. Goes off immediately when I take my foot off the gas though. Do
