I was thinking about adding something called a Fuel Cleaner Additive to my petrol. The way this basically works is you add the additive to a tank full of petrol, and as you drive it cleans the engine... anyone have any experience or advice about this?

I 'think' I may have a sticky thermostat - Sometimes the temp needle fluctuates a bit, sometimes stays on the upper range then drops instantly to normal intermittantly, and usually/normally sits in the normal middle position.
