well i can hear rubber/buzzing noise when i turn my wheel, oil in servo
has been changed and there is enough of it so what can couse these
noises? any way to check powersteering pump and if the system is clogged
somewhere so oil dont do its thing?

I have a 1999 Siecento which has failed mot on handbrake efficiency.  My
local fiat dealer have quoted me £380 to repair stating I need new shoe;
linkages; back plates and lips on drums? Can anyone advise if this sounds
like a fair evaluation?

My wife has an 89 Tipo DGT, done just under 100,000 miles - when pulling
away quickly, there is a grinding noise from the right hand front wheel,
this only lasts for a few seconds. If she pulls away slowly, the noise is

Does anyone know if Fiat have done anything to remedy their problems
with Punto head gaskets? I have just had one go a mere 22000 miles from
new. I'd presume that Fiat UK would be interested in this level of
major component failure but it seems they are too badly managed to care.
