My Girlfriend has been told by our local garage that the strange
whining noise (like the kind of noise you get when in reverse) is
caused by the alternator which is about to go and needs replacing.
Does this sound right?

Have scudo van jtd, yellow warning light has come on, looks like an engine
with arrows inside it.
I don't have a manual to look it up.
Also plenty of black smoke coming out exhaust when acclerating,help.

My dad owned a old Fiat 124 spider years ago, that he loved (until it's
electronics caught fire!)  I loved it, he loved it...
Anyone overseas have any thoughts or press on when Fiat may enter back to
the US?  I'd love even the opportunity to buy one of them!

for a 1994 Fiat Fiorino 1700 Diesel. I have found a new pump and a very good
price but need to cross ref the part number to see if its for the same

I have a Fiat Punto X reg 1.9 diesel.  It has done 53000 miles.  The problem
is when I get out of the car on the right hand side of the road, there is

OK.... so we have seen it ALL before..... and you know what???? this
program wouldn't still be floating around if people weren't ACTUALLY

Here's the challenge:

Might have to change my rear brake pads in the near future. Not having done
this job before, how do you screw the pistons back in.
Is it just a matter of turning/pushing them with a screwdriver, or is there
a special tool ?
