I have a cluch or gear box problem in my fiat punto `96 1.2ltr.
when i press the clutch and try to put it into gear it sort of pops in after
i push it hard
and the reverse gear grinds as it going into gear i got to push it hard also.

A strange thing seems to be happening I had the punto Mk1 sitting on the
drive for over a week without starting it and when I went to start it the
ignition light and injector light on the dash were very faint and I tried
turning over the engine but the engine clicked and that was ...

I'm not sure of the technical term, but the notched piece of metal
(complete unit) that resticts the opening and holds the door open at
various positions has failed at the bit where it screws onto the door.
Are the units interchangable, front to back or left to right to

just had my engine rebuilt and now i have no heating in the car i have
changed the thermostat but still have same problem my temp gauge reads
boiling
please help solve this problem

I'm going to France shortly from the UK and, obviously, I need to adapt
my headlights to driving on the right side of the road. Previous cars
have had a lever or other arrangement to do this but I can't find
anything in the manual for this. Does anybody know how to do this?

My tipo has had a worsening problem since i acquired it off an old man who
gave it a sadly low mileage.....it drives like a bucking bronco,surging and
'pulling back' as you go on and off........it sometimes stalls when slowing

Aged parents have a Punto 60 selecta automatic, 1995 (N reg) 48,000mls.
Having problems selecting drive , selecta sticks, won't go smoothly from
neutral to drive. Otherwise all operates well
Any advice on likely cause and solution / idea of cosys would be appreciated.

The battery on my M reg Fiat Punto is often flat in the morning, even
though it was fully charged the night before (according to the green
led on the battery).  The only way I have been able to 'cure' this
fault is by disconnecting the battery every time I stop the engine.

Looking for a workshop manual for M Reg. Fiat Tipo 1.9TD (Diesel) on CD or Book

Today I went out the the wifes Fiat punto MK1 1242cc 8valve 1999 to have a
look as to why it is idling roughly/chuggy. Whilst the engine was Idling
with a pair of pliers I took off spark plug number 3 lead and the idling
actually got smoother rather than rougher! - very strange it ...

My 18 year old Panda now is a devil to start and when started, won't run
with the choke pushed in. Have checked the obvious jets, filters, but no go.
All advice appreciated. Derrick

When I start my 95/1.1 punto, the it makes a noise similar to the noise
when you leave the key turned to the start position for too long, kind
of like a grinding, grating noise.
It lasts a abuot 2 seconds. My theory is that the starter motor is on
