I have Fiat Punto 75SX. Which has always had erratic tick-over since
purchased secondhand 3 years ago but it used to run well. The tick-over can
vary from 500 to 2500 rpm at times and standing at traffic lights it sounds
like an impatient driver.

I have a Fiat Marea that occasionally would need two or three goes at
turning on the ignition to clear the code light.
This "feature" became permanent yesterday. I used the red master key
and it worked fine.

I took my four month old Fiat Croma into my local Fiat main dealer yesterday
for some warranty work, bits are falling off it in a cascade but that is the
subject of another gripe.
The youth on the service desk asked the type of vehicle, "Croma" I said
