i tried to install a radio in a 94 ford explorer. the radio seems to have power, it lights up but does not work. the dome light does not work now.
i thought it might be a fuse. i cant find the fusebox!! theres a piece under the steering wheel i took off, with no luck. no manual.. ...

Anybody have step by step directions on how to replace a blown-out
speedometer bulb on my 98 explorer sport.  I do recall seeing one many

Well, here are the problems with my '97 EB explorer.
* Serious suspension problem. You hit a bump at any speed over 45 and it's like a rocking boat. It really is sort of relaxing. Any suggestions as to what EXACT part that could be?

I just picked up two Sylvania Silverstar 9007 bulbs to replace the existing
headlight bulbs in my 97 explorer.  Does each bulb provide high and low
beam?  Also, does anyone know if the Silverstar H3 bulb fits and is street
legal for use in the stock fog lights?  Thanks.

The owner's manual says (p 124)

 My 96 XLT (V6, ControlTrac, 4dr) now has over 111k miles. I'm still on my
original clutch.

I never thought I'd ask a question like this, but ...... need a bulb for the
2002 right rear brake light.  Owner's guide says use a 3157K.  The vehicle as
built has 3057K's in it.  Sylvania website says it takes a 3057 type.  So which
is it?  The 3157 has a brighter tail light ...

Second, we had a "O2 sensor 1, bank 1 slow to respond" code. Sensor -
actually, seems to be just one upstream on our '96 V8 EB - was replaced,
but the code returned. What would experience say about the other

In a 1997 Explorer, I have burned out bulbs in the steerignwheel cruise controls.
How do I gain access to the bulbs. Do the covers come off?

Is there a way for a user to enable all power doors to unlock when the key
is turned twice in the door locks?

down a gear then switch back and forth a couple times. while the
transmission does this the speedometer will go crazy bouncing around. i

Here goes, 1996 explorer sport, when the 4.0 v6 cools off, the vacuum
in the cooling system does not get relieved thru the radiator cap. The
radiator  hoses collapse under the suction when cold.
Changed the cap, checked the overflow for restrictions, the coolant

I've searched all over for the location of the "Computer Module" that the
five digit code is supposedly on.
My wife bought a used Explorer 2002 XLT the we don't  have the code to open
the keyless entry. The dealer wants $75 to find it for us. (We bought
