| 97 Explorer with heat problem | 11 Feb 2004 12:12 GMT | 2 |
I may have the stuck blend door problem, but I don't think so. I have manual heat, not climate control. I am not able to get any airflow out of my airbox. Can't get any defrost, ac, heat. The only air that exits the system is through the center console to the rear seats.

| AAA Couldn't jump start dead battery | 11 Feb 2004 00:40 GMT | 6 |
I must have left one of my gadgets on and the battery was completely drained after two weeks. The AAA guy couldn't get his truck into the parking garage, so he used a portable unit and connected it to the battery. All electrical worked, but the engine wouldn't turn over.

On long highway trips (CA to CO and back) in my '95 Explorer V6, the check engine light comes on at various times during the trip, but never after reaching either destination. Within Colorado I've driven up to four hours with elevation changes of 6000 feet, but the light never ...

| 2004 Ford Escape Drive Train | 09 Feb 2004 00:47 GMT | 26 |
I recently tested an Escape Limited with a 3 liter V-6 engine. It had a 2-position selector switch on the dash labeled as auto/4WD. The salesman was uncertain what exactly the 'auto' mode did. Is the auto mode AWD? If so, then why isn't the switch labeled AWD/4WD?

| Best tire pressure for smooth ride and towing? | 08 Feb 2004 04:06 GMT | 3 |
I have a (new to me) 2000 Explorer XLS (6 cyl. SOHC). I will be using it for in town commuting and pulling a 2500 lb. enclosed trailer on weekends. I've seen the recommendations for running tire pressure 30 front / 35 rear as a general guideline.

| 99 Explorer Sport | 06 Feb 2004 01:00 GMT | 2 |
I have a problem with my 99 Explorer Sport with AWD. On snowy days when driving, it started kind of bucking sometimes. It almost seems like the engine is cutting out or backfiring, but I can't tell if it is the engine cutting out, or something with the transmission. I shifted ...
