i have a 98'ford explorer xlt and i have the remote for the locks and i was woundering if there is an alarm for it?if so how do i actvate it?and also my keypad on driver door...i figured out the lock but dont know the unlock...how do i find out the factory setting for it???

None of the power windows will open or shut unless the driver's door is open 20 degrees or more. Sounds like a connection problem in the door. Anyone else had this problem?? thanks.

I have a '91, 6-cyl, manual-shift Explorer. Each time I begin driving, there is a heavy smell of gasoline for the first five minutes or so, regardless of whether or not the tank is full, near empty or anywhere in between. Does anyone have a diagnosis and solution for this?

Seeing fresh oil stains (looks like motor oil) on the driver side lower suspension arm of my 2001 Sport. I think I found the source being that there is a heavy consentration of oil in the area where there's a black vent tube with a grey cap just visible from the engine

I know this is not the proper group but I've found the people here to be quite helpful so I hope I can sneak this in. My headlights have been stuck on - I made sure the autolamp control was in the off position. I pulled the switch out of the circuit altogether
