At a recent Society of Automotive Engineers conference in Washington,
Ford announced the 2004 Explorer and F150 have crash data recorders on
board. The recorder is part of the electronic throttle control and not
part of the air bag control module as on other Ford models.

I have a 2000 Explorer XLS with Goodyear Wrangler RT/S tires. It's time to
change tires, and I'm looking for something that's smoother on the road. These
are rough riding at best. I do no off-roading, so just looking for a smoother
road ride.

My 2002 XLT 4WD came with Bridgestone Dueler H/T P255/70/R16.
They are still good after 25000 Km , but a little bit noisy. My retailer
tires has just received
Michelin LTX M/S P255/70/R16 .

I own a 1992 ford w/ a 302 and recently i have started adding oil
between oil changes so i began searching for a cause.  While checking
the air filter i realized that the crankcase fitler was soaked in oil
and has also covered my air filter box w/ oil.  I have checked the pcv

Does anyone put synthetic in their explorers ? Did you notice any difference
in the engine running with it in there ? I know this can open up a enormous
thread, but I'm thinking of running in my 2003 AWD Eddie Bauer Explorer.
