HELP! 1993 explorer won't start30 Sep 2004 16:23 GMT2
93 explorer, manual transmission.  I turn the key and and all that happens
is one click.  I replaced the 7 year old battery, then the starter relay
located on the fender by the battery, and then the starter.  Still won't
start unless I get friends to push me.  Anyone have an idea ...

my explorer wouldn't start after i changer my plugs and wires so i bought a
fuel filter it ran for a day then died again i replaced the fuel pump, fuel
pump relay and know it will start then when i shut it off and try to start
it again it wont start i let it sit for about 15mins and ...

I have a 1992 2 door Ford Explorer.
I have a water leak that also contains anti-freeze mixed with the water
which is leaking from which looks like a hose that is comes out of the back
firewall into the engine compartment under the evaporator case.  There is

I read in the paper advance trac and stability control are gonna be standard on
05 explorers.  Might wanna consider this if you are looking at an old 04.

I am a new Explorer owner, and am trying to hook up the audio output
from a portable DVD player to my factory radio.  I would like to use the
CD changer input, but don't know the pinout.
Does anyone know the CD changer pinout, or even better, can I buy a

i need the radio faceplate or white rubber membrane from cd/cassette/am/fm
radio from 1999 this is single cd version.junked radio ok too ,buttons are
starting to fail because rubber is punched thru,someone gotta have one on

Anyone had this problem before. My 1998 Explorer EB used to locks the doors
automatically once I engaged drive gear. Does anyone experienced this problem
and what the fix was?

Not sure I read the whole sign, but as a friend was driving
me past Costco I saw a sign by the tire area which suggested
tires purchased there were filled with Nitrogen.
Has anyone here heard of this concept?

I have a 2000 Explorer Sport 4x2 and the airbag light is coming on
intermittently. I took it in to the dealer today and they said that
it's a resistance problem with the airbag wire harness. Cost to
replace - over $250.

I was backing out of my driveway the other day and discovered my power
steering was not working...........
I drove to a service station (to get some air for my tires), shut the
car off and when I restarted it the power steering was back!!

My '92 EB goes "clunk" when shifting from Drive to Reverse and vice versa.
I had the U-Joints replaced by Ford recently (when I got a new/rebuilt
trans).  I have looked underneath and cannot find anything loose or any
obviously worn bushings on the suspension.  Anyone else have this ...

I'm trying to help my brother put new plugs and wires in his 1992 Explorer
XLT, and for the life of me I cant find the manual or any info on the net
on how much to gap the new spark plugs. If anyone can help me with this it
will be much appreciated

Curious to note if anyone else has the same problem and/or should I get
it looked at now or at the next oil change.
When the AC is on, my 2004 Mountaineer V8 will squeek about once every
1 - 2 minutes.  Another way to describe it is as a short whistle, like a

I know - this is dumb...tomorrow I have to replace my 3 belts ('82
F-100 inline 6 (4.9) w/power steering, a/c, 4 speed....should I buy a
big set of pliers, or can I just use sockets and a prybar?
