Vehicle is just 24 months/25,000 miles old. It's equipped with the tan

side vinyl trim is cracked about 2-3 inches long about 3-4 inches above the
heated seat switch. Any body else with an '02 or 03 EB ...

How does the front and rear rotors remove on a 1997 4x4 explorer with
V-6? On the front rotors there is a large retaining nut on the axle,
is that all that holds them on? If I pull the front rotors will I also
expose the 4x4 unit? like on some older 4x4s? How about the back

Explorer sounds like a squeaking mattress11 Sep 2004 21:04 GMT6
My car makes a squeaking sound, sort of like mattresses squeaking. I think
it is mostly in the front. It also sometimes makes a jingling sound that
sounds like it is near the front tire. The jingling sound is usually when
the motor is warm, but the squeaky sound is mostly anytime. I ...

A strange overheating incident10 Sep 2004 14:07 GMT5
The patient is a 92 with 167k glorious miles. It has a new radiator that was

While driving along at 55,  I spotted the temp gauge all the way up in the

Explorer front wheel bearing $$ sticker shock.10 Sep 2004 04:13 GMT3
I think I have  front wheel bearings on one side going bad on my 95

prices range from $198.00 each side at Advance Auto Parts to over $250.00 per
side at the dealer!!  It seems that when replacing these ...
Real fog lamps, not toys10 Sep 2004 03:14 GMT2
Can anyone recommend fog lamps for my '02 XLT which really do cut
through pea soup rather than just look snazzy?  I'd like to mount the
lights nice and low where Ford would have put them had they been
installed as OE, but there are just so many varieties in the catalogs
