Hi. Is there a list somewhere that tells all of the reasons that the Check Engine Light might come on? The last time it came on ('92 EB) I found that the power steering fluid level was low. I filled it and the check engine light went off. Coincidence?

Ibought a explorer 1999 in auction, it came only with the key. I bought on ebay 2 remote keyless fob with programing insttructions and it dint on my explorer but work great on the expedition. How I detect if my explorer is equiped with the oem keyless fob system?

I got one today. Nope. Wasn't about the howling rear end. It says the top rear window portion of the hatchback could fall on someone's head and to only raise the entire unit when loading and unloading items from the rear until they get it fixed. They are supposed to replace the lift ...

my transmission takes a while to engage in drive, after i back up, backs up excellent..drives good too...its just i need to rev-up to engine to engage in drive....runs good on the free-way..i changed the filter , i have 166,00 miles on it......

I recently had an Explorer re-carpeted. In the cargo area the bumps and ridges of the metal floor are very pronounced and the surface is not flat and cushioned as it was originally. The shop that did the carpeting said they used padding, but the result is clearly not like original ...

My 92 temperature cycles constantly. Between the N and L in normal. back and forth, back and forth. I've replaced the thermostat 3 times, the radiator, the temp sending unit, the radiator cap. It is driving me nuts.

I own a 1995 Mercury Sable and the transmission failed in 1999 at 95,000 miles. I own a 2000 Ford Explorer XLS and the transmission failed this past Friday at 89,000 miles.

My '91 Ford Explorer is having some transmission problems. I noticed over the past couple months that when I shift from 'park' to 'O' that it took the transmission a second or two to engage instead on engaging instantly.

My 98 Explorer (V8) was purchased in California, and as such didn't come with a block heater. I'm now living in colder climates and wondering if I'll need one. Overnight the explorer will be in my garage, but at work it's outside for a full 8 hours

Ok, I have a 93' Explorer and i want to put a bodykit on it, but i cant find any for that year. The only ones i can find are for 95's and up, does anyone know if a 95 will fit on a 93, or if you know somewhere i can find some.......

Does anyone know of any common problem with rear window wipers on '01 Explorers? Mine was working fine a couple weeks ago and now nothing. I have checked the fuse and it's fine. I don't hear any noise when I turn on the wiper switch so I assume the the motor is not getting any juice ...
