On my 98 XLT the left hand driving light (the little rectangular one that lives down in the air dam) has lost it's reflective backing. Is anybody aware of a non oem replacement that will fit in it's place - I'm pretty certain the price of a genuine part will hurt me too much....

I just got a 1995 Ford Explorer Sport. My dome light does NOT come on automatically when any doors are opened. I CAN manually turn on light with dash dimmer switch, so I know it works. The manual states that the dome light should come on when any door is opened.

My '03 Explorer XLT V6 has been acting a little odd during slow acceleration from a stop. I can't reproduce this all the time, but sometimes when I start off from a stoplight using very little pressure on the pedal, I'll hear/feel the engine upshift to 2nd and then immediately ...
