I have a '93 Explorer and I need to get into the middle of the dash
board..How do I begin removing it???and more importantly..Is it easy

I have an '04 Explorer, purchased in April. Up until now everything's
been just fine.  However, cold weather is upon us and the transmission
is beginning to do something weird.

I replaced the upper/lower intake gaskets on my '97 SOHC V6 Explorer
today since I had been getting the usual warmup problems on cold
mornings.  The procedure had already been performed several years ago
along with the timing chain tensioners.

I have a 2000 Explorer XLT with 57,000 miles. There is a
strong vibration that increases and decreases with speed
and resembles a thumping sound under the floorboard.
Tires and brakes are okay.

I'm sending this message as I'm too lazy to actually look for myself.
But...  Does anyone know where I can find replacement fog lights for 98
Explorer XLT?  Mine have turned a nice shade of dirt yellow.  I once looked
but only found $300 sets.  Surely they come cheaper.

I'm looking at buying an Explorer from a local dealer and would like
to know if there is anything I need to check before I sign all the
paperwork. It is the 4x2 with 54k miles and appears to be in good
shape. They will be replacing the driver side mirror and the

Where is the power amp located? I have no sound since hooking up a trailer.
I replaced the fuse for the amp and trailer harness, but there is still no
sound. Thinking the amp may have a fuse that's blown but can't find it's
location. HELP!!!

We've had a problem on a 92 explorer. The battery wemt dead
and there was nothing left on. It happened after it was
left sitting for 5 days or so. I tested the battery terminals
(with the battery removed) didn't get an open circuit reading

Rain or water poured below the windshield (Near the wiper motor) comes

Can someone please confirm for me the proper connection order of the
spark plug wires to the coil pack on a '97 SOHC V6?  I'm having running
trouble after changing out the upper/lower intake gaskets.  Forgot to

I have a 96 Explorer XLT with 115,000 miles on it
Recently it has developed a rattle (which I assume is coming from the
engine) at between 2000 and 2500 rpm.
The engine check light has not come on.
