Just noticing after a road trip, I now have a whine coming from the rear. It almost sounds like the rear end gear is now meshed harder, the pitch of the noise goes up with speed. Possible problems??

I have determined that the vacuum modulator is defective (tranny fluid in the vacuum hoses) and have a replacement ($37.50) to install. I removed the passenger seat and console and peeled the carpet up to expose an access cover on top of the tranny hump.

anyone have any experience using Trico teflon wiper blades? i wonder how they perform insnowy icy weather as they do not have rubber boots covering their frames as do regular winter blades. any comments appreciated.. thanx, jim

A while back I heard something "click" while I was opening the door. Now the handle is no longer "springy". The door closes ok, but I have to slam it more than the other doors to close it. Is this easily fixed?

I have a 98 ford explorer 4.0 EFI Its not a SOHC. My check engine light came on the other day, the next morning I noticed a rough idle. it seemed to clear up after the engine warmed up. I disconnected the battery cables to do a reset. It ran a few days ok. then the light came

My '05 Limited has the optional reverse sensors in the back bumper. There is a switch on the left side of the steering column that turns these off (and lights up when off). Normally, the sensors are on when the vehicle is started.
