I have a 97 XLT. Starting today, turning the temperature select knob does not seem to do anything. If I have it set to "AC", it only blows hot air, and if I turn to "Max AC" it only Blows cold air (As it should). Anyone know what the cause of this is? Could it be a vacuum line on ...

Well, looks like I may have to deal with the ol blend door problem. Cant seem to change the temp of the air from the vents. Hot all the time...Cant hear the door moving anymore...MAX AC seems to work slightly. My question is, Did Ford/Merc change the design for the 2000, or is ...

1997 Ranger 4x4 extended cab with air con. I have tons of hot air just can not adjust the temperture in the cab. Anyone have a link to a web page that I can do some reading ???? Is it just a linkage problem or some damn electronics?? TIA Reg
