Rear Door Lock Rocker Switch28 Apr 2005 22:37 GMT1
In the back of my '01 Explorer Sport is a rocker switch that is supposed
to lock the doors before shutting the rear hatch.
Sometimes if works, sometimes it doesn't. The battery is near the end of
it's life. Could it be that it is too weak?

I have the factory installed anti-theft with keychain 'ARM/DISARM'
buttons.
When I bought the truck, it only worked the door locks which was great.
Once I put a new battery in it, the ignition disable became functional

My 99' anti-theft alarm will not stop once I turn the key to "on" and I
have to dissconnect the battery to make it stop. I have tried
locking/unlocking the door and just about everything else I could think
of. any suggestions?

I've got an '02 Explorer Eddie Bauer edition that has a malfunctioning
compass.  Seems that has forgot where north and east is and every thing is
shown as west or southwest or south regardless if you pointing due north.
Any ideas how to fix this or reset it?  Thanks!

2001 XLT 4WD My battery is staring at me with a red "eye". I'm sure it
should be blue. I am assuming it needs water, but I thought I had a
"mainteneance free" battery. Its the original, and I cannot get to the

My spark plugs have black powder on them, I was told either ruuning to rich
or something in ignition system, has alot of hesitation, and cappy gas

I just took my 04 explorer in for an intermittant electrical problems.
Last night I walked out to the truck after work and the keyless entry
didn't work.  The interior lights wouldn't turn on, the door locks

I bought a 2002 Ford Explorer with 42,000 miles on it.  I love the

1.  Between 2300 and 2800 RPM I hear a noise like metal being ground up
