Changing brake pads - What about ABS ??06 Apr 2005 18:45 GMT6
I have a '98 XLT, and want to change my brake pads. I was told that on
cars with ABS there is a special way to insert the new pads because if
you push in the cylinders it puts fluid into the ABS system and can

2002 Transmission "Thunk"05 Apr 2005 23:39 GMT5
I have a 2002 V6 XLT with 4WD. In the last week, it has exhibited a
strange behavior. First thing in the morning, when cold (maybe low
50's/high 40's) when I start it and back out of the driveway there is a
noticabel noise coming from (perhaps) the front fifferential, transfer
Should 2000 EB - Oil Pressure sending unit - Stuck?05 Apr 2005 16:12 GMT1
The oil pressure gauge (I know it really is an idiot light with a needle),
appears to be stuck at the bottom until the engine warms a bit, then it
"pops" to the proper position.  Does this behavior indicate a bad sending
unit?

Missing link for power window repair04 Apr 2005 02:03 GMT5
I am having problems with my power windows in a '92 Explorer. Old posts
reference a how-to-fix website put together by a Jeff Singleton. The
site is no longer active. Does anyone know where it went? Or do you
know of a good online guide?

1998 4.0 SOHC Explorer  - Does anyone have a schematic for the auxilliary

component each relay supplies, working from the radiator end of the box? I
was hoping to find some info on the box cover like you ...

Hey there.  I have a 92 Ford Explorer that I am having a problem with
starting all of a sudden.  I bought it last week, and there were no
problems the first few days.  I bought one of those battery solar panels
to keep the battery charged, and plugged it in via the cigarette
Horn Sounds Weak........................BEEP BEEP..............H E L P01 Apr 2005 21:22 GMT1
I have a 99 Exolorer that has a horn that sounds like a Yugo.
I removed the battery and box to get to the 2 horns. I cleaned all
posts and made a new wire with the correct terminals and
re-installed. It still sounds weak.
'93 Explorer grinding noise01 Apr 2005 13:55 GMT4
I hear a grinding noise when I turn the wheel either right
or left. First I thought it was worn out ball joints, but I don't
hear a clicking sound. It just sounds that a belt is getting
tighter when I turn the wheel. Power steering? The wheel
