Hello all, this is my first time here and have a question for all you smart
people! I have a 1993 Ford Explorer automatic 2 wheel drive-- the
transmission is messed up. Will only move in reverse.  Have located
another transmission from a 1990 Explorer 2 wheel drive and am trying to

say that I can get a Ford wiring harness for my Tekonsha Prodigy and just
plug it right in.  I tried it this evening, and I can't find where the

My '97 EB needs a on AC charge of refrigerant.  There is still
refrigerant in the system but not enough. A couple of questions. Is
the charging inlet on the top of the compressor under the hood on the
passenger side ?  Anybody have any experience with a recharge kit.  I

auto-down feature and make it work like the other 3 windows? I

I cannot start my car. When I turn the key in th eignition, it sounds like
my battery is low but when I get it jumped with cables and I turn the key
to start, all of a sudden the instrument lights are blinking disorderly
and the doors lock and unlock alternatively like if the car ...

Hey all. I lurk here now and then and did a search on my question that
didn't help. I live in Silicon Valley (San Jose) and I'm looking for a
used factory sub-woofer for a 93 Explorer. I called all the local
truck wreckers and they all blew me off. Went to 2 local pick and pull

I have a 97 V8 w/trailer tow.  Hook up the rig Sat morning and....No Running
lites, no brake or turn signal lites.    Lights on the truck work fine.  I
can operate all the trailer lights with a seperate power source, so the

I have a Explorer 02 with 95Km.  I brought my Explorer to a ford
dealership yesterday because the motor makes noise (Sounds like pinging
noise ) between 2000 and 3000RPM.   I explained to them that I think it

'92 Explorer XLT 4.0L V6-pushrod 4WD.
Now, not all '92 Explorers have EGR valves, correct? If they did it
would be marked on the sticker above the radiator, correct? Mine
doesn't have an EGR on the sticker and I can't seem to find one
